ScrapeField
Search for the LinkedIn API’s price and you find guides from vendors that no longer exist. The short answer has not changed: LinkedIn does not sell API access by the call, and publishes no price. What it has is two kinds of access, and which one you can get decides what you can build.
Free to any developer
Two products are open to every developer who registers an app: signing a member in, which gives your app that member’s own name, headline, photo and email, and posting on LinkedIn for a member who allowed it. Both are free. Both work only for the member who signed in to your app: neither reads anyone else’s profile, a company page or a job.
Partner programs, by application
Everything about other members and companies sits in partner programs: the Sales Navigator Application Platform for other members’ profiles, the recruiting programs for jobs, the marketing programs for pages and ads. LinkedIn approves each partner, and the terms, fees included, are agreed with each one and not published. LinkedIn’s developer documentation lists what each program opens and how to apply. If your product is a sales, recruiting or marketing integration LinkedIn supports, apply: official access is worth having. If it is not, there is no price to pay; the access is not on offer.
Reading LinkedIn per call instead
An API like ours reads LinkedIn by the call, with no LinkedIn account of yours involved. It is not official, which is the trade. Each call has a published price, and a call that fails costs nothing:
- A profile: 7 to 33 credits a call: from $5.46 per 1,000 calls on the smallest pack, from $3.08 on the largest. The dearer price adds a work email where one can be found.
- A company page: 3 credits a call: $2.34 per 1,000 calls on the smallest pack, $1.32 on the largest.
- A page of job search results: 3 credits a call: $2.34 per 1,000 calls on the smallest pack, $1.32 on the largest; one posting in full, the same.
- A page of people search: 7 to 170 credits a call: from $5.46 per 1,000 calls on the smallest pack, from $3.08 on the largest, depending on the source.
- A page of posts: 3 to 7 credits a call: from $2.34 per 1,000 calls on the smallest pack, from $1.32 on the largest.
Every endpoint and its price is on the pricing page. A profile, with no key, answers from the demo:
curl "https://api.scrapefield.com/v1/linkedin/profile?vanity_name=example-person&demo=true"If you priced it with Proxycurl
Many of the guides that still rank for this question were written by Proxycurl, which shut down on 4 July 2025. Its prices and its endpoints are gone. Leaving Proxycurl maps its calls to ours, and ScrapeField vs the LinkedIn API sets the official route beside ours, line by line.
