ScrapeField
Nobody buys “Apify”. They buy a scraper someone published on it, and the scraper sets the price. So the useful question is not what Apify costs but what the actor you would actually run costs. We checked the store listings on 21 September 2026, and again on 9 October.
| Actor | Per 1,000 results, free plan | On Business, $999 a month |
|---|---|---|
| Google Maps Scraper | $4.00 a place | $1.50 |
| Instagram Scraper | $2.70 | $1.50 |
| TikTok Scraper | $3.70 a video, and a start fee | $1.70 |
| Tweet Scraper V2 (X) | no API on the free plan | $0.40 a post, at least 50 a query |
| LinkedIn profiles (dozens of actors) | $2.80 to $20.00, by actor; the most used is $4.00, $10.00 with an email | |
The price on the page is the cheapest tier
An actor’s headline price, “from $1.50”, is what an account on Apify’s Business plan pays. On the free plan and the $19 Starter plan, the same results cost 1.4 to 2.7 times as much. A plan’s monthly usage expires at the end of the month if you do not spend it.
The popular actors are predictable now
Apify has two models. Pay per usage bills compute, memory, storage and proxies, which you cannot know in advance. Pay per event is a fixed price per result, set by the actor’s author. Every high-traffic actor above uses pay per event, so for those, the old complaint that an Apify bill cannot be forecast is no longer true. We used to say it. We stopped. Since 1 October 2026 there is no third model: rental actors were retired, and moved to pay per usage.
Where Apify is cheaper, and where it is not
A list of places: our search returns up to 20 full listings a call, so 1,000 places cost about $0.12 on our smallest pack and $0.07 on our largest, against $1.50 to $4.00. One place in full: our place details cost $2.34 per 1,000 on the smallest pack and $1.32 on the largest, so the Maps actor is cheaper on its Business tier and dearer below it.
LinkedIn profiles are cheaper on Apify: the most used actor is $4.00 per 1,000, and ours is $5.46 on the smallest pack and $3.08 on the largest. If price is what decides it, use it.
What the price does not tell you
There is no single price for a LinkedIn profile on Apify. There are dozens of listings, with as many response shapes and maintainers, and some still need your LinkedIn cookie. The one you pick decides your price, your schema, and who fixes it when LinkedIn changes. None of them publishes a success rate.
That is the trade. We cover five platforms instead of thousands of actors, with one price per endpoint, one documented schema for each platform, one maintainer — us — and a status page with our name on it. The full comparison includes the rows where we lose.
