ScrapeField

Google Maps MCP server

Every Google Maps endpoint as a tool your agent can call: places, details, reviews, photos and posts. The same data and the same price per call as the Google Maps API, and a demo mode that needs no key. No Google Cloud key and no billing account of yours. And a place’s reviews come back all of them, not the Places API’s five, with the owner’s posts as well.

Add it

One server, at https://scrapefield.com/mcp, over HTTP. It carries every platform’s tools, Google Maps’s among them. In Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http scrapefield https://scrapefield.com/mcp

Leave the Authorization header out and every tool answers in demo mode: one real, captured answer per tool, in the live shape, charged nothing. With no key, the server also offers sign_up, which asks for a key for the person the agent works for (how).

The Google Maps tools

Each one is an endpoint of the API, with the same parameters and the same answer. A failed call costs nothing.

ToolWhat it doesCredits
search_placesSearch Google Maps for businesses and places3
get_placeGet one Google Maps place in full3
get_place_reviewsGet the reviews of a Google Maps place6
get_place_photosGet the photos of a Google Maps place4
get_place_postsGet an owner's posts on a Google Maps place4

Call one without a key

What a client sends when the agent calls get_place. Without a key it is answered from the demo; the answer’s structuredContent is what GET /v1/google-maps/place returns.

curl -X POST https://scrapefield.com/mcp \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/call","params":{"name":"get_place","arguments":{"place_id":"ChIJN1t_tDeuEmsRUsoyG83frY4"}}}'

Things to ask it

Each is a worked example on the Google Maps page, with the calls it makes and what a run costs.

Every tool, for every platform, with its input schema: the MCP server’s docs.
